Tbh, I don't feel much camaraderie through the internet anymore. My parasocial filter is too high, and my whimsy has wisened.
Days like today still bring on that classic community feeling, and I'm grateful for that.
parasociality has cost me so much grief. I kinda miss the year after the vax, when things began opening again. people were just better to eachother, in 21 there was so much more hope
It was a pretty uncertain time. I think it's important that we all search relentlessly for genuine human connection, not just participation in an attention economy.
