Just had my first professional encounter w/ an apparent AI error I'm updating our annual child marriage reports, and found an article from this year saying North Dakota passed a reform, HB 1450, way back in 2019 Panic! How did we miss this! Have our reports been wrong for 7 years?! (No)

The bill they cite as passing in 2019 both A) did not actually pass & B) did not address age of marriage. It was about the tax rate on tobacco sales, and it failed Current ND age of marriage law passed in 1977 The "2019 reform" is pure hallucination Btw, Google's AI cites this AI article 🙃
