It isn’t the ”backfeed” issue that worries me. US residential wiring is built around a simple assumption: power flows from the panel (breaker box) to circuits, outlets, and appliances. Breakers and wire sizing are selected with that one-way flow in mind. Systems should be NEC compliant.
