Dating back to pagan times, August 1st is Lammas Day ("Loaf Mass"), where we celebrate the first harvest festival of the year. Traditionally, the Lammas loaf is made from the first wheat harvest, taken to church and shared as an offering for the bountiful harvest to come. #Folklore #LammasDay
