Hey! Yes, I select the hue, which for my specific monochrome pallets is orangish red(vermillion) than I reduce the saturation way down, and then adjust the values from low to high it ends up almost greyscale but not quite! You can do it with any hue, and varying degrees of saturation for monochrome
