Haim Saban was a glory hog. He went out and marketed himself as the genius behind Power Rangers to the point that the online fandom in the late 90s thought he *personally* was behind every aspect of production. Which was to the detriment of the VERY talented production team actually making it!
Julie🍉Power Rangers is such a weird title because it was produced by one of the greediest, most horrible people on the planet, but also features the hardwork of genius directors (Sakamoto) and a cast of underpaid actors learning and shooting fight choreography in a single day.
