🤨 My brother-in-arms who joined at 18-years-old just as the Cold War was ending said he signed up for the good pay and education benefits. Thirteen years later, we buried him in Arlington. He got a Purple Heart & a posthumous promotion so his widow could get benefits at a fractionally higher level.
