I wash fresh produce in soapy dishwater then rinse it well with running water. My intention wash to reduce common soil and pesticides used. Cyclosporiasis is not removed by common disinfectants used in produce processing. Surfactants in soap help to release the pathogen. Don't buy bagged lettuce.
