This movie was one of those "was that real or was it a fever dream?" films from my childhood that ended up not only being real, but being outrageously good on a revisit, truly a hidden gem.
I. Knox RobbinsThis movie, Twice Upon a Time, is a visual and technical feast! Transparent cut-outs and occasional keyframe animation shot in stop motion on top of glass multi-plane backgrounds. Its partially improvised script and design choices influenced most of Phil Lord and Chris Miller's projects.
