You know, I've never really thought that?? I just decide depending on what the discussion is about. Or if there are lots of replies which are saying exactly what I think.
The context here was somebody just wanting to post their random thoughts for fun and getting inundated with “well, actually”’s and “have you tried”’s.
While well-meaning - somebody gets the opportunity to go “I did the thing too!” - it likely gets irksome past some threshold of random followers.
