This is going to sound silly but I just read Chapter 2 of 'The Wind in the Willows'. A book I've not read since I was a teenager. And after Toad's caravan has been totalled by the passing of a car Toad makes a little speech and he sounds like a Futurist. (I've been reading Futurist Manifestos)
