No one has dared to talk about, much less address, 'difficult things', since Thatcher. And she just acted; no talk. Housing? Social care? Post industrial economics? The legacy of Empire? How the NHS is run? Preventative health care? Immigration? Wealth reapportionment? Mental health? Substance use?
