And Citizens United repealed but not even Dems want that because they take billions from corporations in donations and personal financial gain. Republicans are fighting it's own moderates, exactly like the Establishment Dems have been fighting the non-establishment left for decades.

Agree. That’s why all the big money needs to be eliminated from our elections. Personally, I don’t think anyone in Congress should make more than 50k and not allowed to make any more money outside while serving.

The reason why we don't pay people $50k is because we want, mostly, smart and educated people who have to leave their jobs to do this full time and $50k is so low, you'll only end up with rich people or senior citizens that don't have to work. The salary isn't really the concern, it's not tha tmuch.

Well, we did get Lauren Boebert. I can agree with a higher salary but no outside money on top of that while in office. They shouldn’t become millionaires while serving the people and the country.
