I have a suspicion we're talking about different types of "AI" here I have a unique and specific hatred for Large Language Models and text/visual generative AI. Predictive models that guess the next word or visual we expect to see. LLM's are a dead end, insulting to human life and creativity.

Why should I trust the output of an LLM if they constantly make mistakes that only an expert in that field would recognize? That's dangerous. It means only a fraction of experts recognize the error, and everyone else assumes the information is good.

Just slap a warning label on it imo. I agree. It is dangerous. But it exists. All you can do is ask that it be heavily regulated. Or... Like my intelligence community, daddy said... It should not have been released to the general public, which is pretty scary thing to hear.

This better be a clear given with everyone. It does not seem like it is. I met a fucking middle schooler (a stranger in person, mind you) having a shit attack about AI recently as a whole. It was pretty aggressive tone. It took me off guard a bit.
