0.33l in a glass bottle: just about the right amount of soda.
0.33l in a can: just about the right amount of soda.
0.33l in a plastic bottle: what the hell why so small why would anyone ever think this is enough?
"but what about 0.44 or my favorite, 16.398 fluid apothecary ounces?" no. not allowed.
0.25 cans: unacceptable. what are you, an energy drink?
0.25 plastic bottle: why do you hate yourself?
1.0 can: did you accidentally buy beer for a house party?
I also have opinions on glass sizes but that would lead too far, except: 0.4 is never an acceptable amount of anything. if you are serving a drink in an 0.4 glass take a good hard look at your reflection in the mirror and ask it why it can't commit to 0.3 or 0.5, which are what people want.
I remember a brief moment in the late '00s that 250ml tall thin beer cans were available. I used to have one in each pocket when going out, and they were non standard enough the bouncers at a gig would miss them.
the thing I don't like about 250ml tall slim cans is that they are almost exactly the size of 330ml tall slim cans but with less in them. I have been burned before
