I believe you to be a very smart and deeply patriotic man. But, this time you're not reading the room. Graham's passing should not be celebrated by anyone. That said, no lionization is appropriate. A simple "my condolandes to those who loved him" would have sufficed.

G was a terrible person allowed the privilege to hold immense powers over the lives of others. While I don't celebrate his death, him not holding office anymore is undeniably a net benefit to most of us on this planet (unless, of course, he's replaced by someone even worse).

So why say nobody should celebrate his death. Look a child in Gaza who had to pick up their parents body parts and tell them Lyndsey’s death shouldn’t be celebrated. People can feel however they want.
