I recently used an AI to do a piece of specific technical research for a thing I'm writing and I made the mistake of stating that purpose, resulting in the AI asking me if I wanted it to WRITE ME A SAMPLE SCENE like fuck no I don't and if you did and I read it I'd have to kill the fucking project
John ScalziYup. I noted a while back that I don't and won't use "AI" for my writing work, and I recently update my personal site to note that fact. And yes, it's annoying we feel obliged to do this now.
