Yes. The Alhambra Decree of 1492 (baptism or death) wasn't actually revoked until 1992, and it took another 20 years for the King of Spain to apologize in 2012 for 500 years of persecution of the Jews. Yet, to this day, there has been no real reckoning with this history.
