Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny) was so dedicated that he had a microphone brought to his hospital bed so he could keep recording his Spacely lines for The Jetsons movie in 1989 before dying from emphysema. He literally performed for his audience on his death bed to keep his characters alive. Respects.
