Bringing funky sterling pretties for repairs at jewellers, is fun because they usually see super classic stuff (gold and diamonds). Yesterday the guy who checked my repaired piece was handling it with childlike wonder for a while as I waited. In a low voice he muttered: “This is exceptional.” 😆
