This is the correct take. I’ll admit that Platner is an extraordinarily gifted communicator, but that’s not enough for the general election, esp given that Republicans have been keeping their powder dry for now
Hunter WalkerAll of this is a bad, fallacious argument. The polls that even Platner has shared show other Dems beat Collins. And his own numbers against her do not yet reflect his many, many issues being litigated in a general election. He's almost inarguably the less sure thing.
