My grandpa John M. Perkins (94) is a civil rights icon; I routinely meet people from all over, who’ve heard or read one of his many lectures or books. Whenever he mentions the eldest son of his eldest son, he brags about my intellect—he knows I get it from him. He’s where I get my confidence from 🖤
