Today’s free newsletter has a very simple message: The AI industry can not (and will not) be bailed out - AI is not too big to fail, OpenAI is not AIG, this is not 2008, and all of this is nothing like the Dot Com Bubble. And when it fails, we must let AI burn. www.wheresyoured.at/let-ai-burn/

Lol. I'm sure there's no inference costs hidden in the R&D or Marketing expenses. And let's just forget about the $17.87 billion in costs via that “net loss attributable to noncontrolling members capital” and another $3.95 billion via a “net loss attributable to redeemable noncontrolling interests.”

It’s pretty funny that the takeaway from Zitron getting the leaked OpenAI financials is that they are in fact a ~40% gross margin business on inference like everybody suspected but he himself continues to vehemently deny

Oh my. This is a huge leak. OpenAI is leaking more than anyone thought. What was their IPO valuation again?

Exclusive: I have seen OpenAI's audited financials for 2024 and 2025. In 2025, OpenAI had $13.07 billion in revenue and $34 billion in costs. $867 million of its revenue came from SoftBank, and $303 million came from Microsoft. www.wheresyoured.at/exclusive-op...

My question is, what THE FUCK are Meta employees and developers doing with billions-worth of AI spending? Because their "products" suck more than ever.

Ed Zitron

The Information reports that Meta is planning to curb its employees' AI spending mere weeks after encouraging them to token-maxx. Meta is on track to spend billions on internal use alone. Anthropic and OpenAI cannot afford for their customers to slow down. www.theinformation.com/articles/tok...

I’m going to leave you with a little tease. In the next few weeks, I’ll publish a newsletter that will reveal, with numbers that were never meant to be shown, something that very well may burst the AI bubble. www.wheresyoured.at/ai-is-slowing-down/

Oh boy, the copium is through the roof! AGI 😂

Musk's "Starlink", Bezos' "Prometheus", Amodei's "Anthropic"... Those names are intentional, to sound "futuristic" and create an impression of relevancy. Here I thought cool sounding names were reserved for an actually cool, technological future. Instead we get *this* bullshit of a reality.

Imagine if scientists marketed nuclear fusion as if it was profitable, but for that you had to turn a blind eye to the fact that output energy is still lower than input energy. But hey, every year is a new record for how much power it produced! Jump in or you're a loser! That's GenAI's "economics".
