She initially wanted a zoomed-in version of her regular map, but after talking about it more we settled on a trail map of this mountain the FMC climbs in the story. Okay so this is a weird example but if we're talking about water I want to talk about my map of the real-world Okavango river basin. I made this for my reference book on worldbuilding and map design, which I used to showcase how not all rivers empty in the sea. Some empty on land. #Cartaugust 🪐 📚️
