I feel like I’m ironing out the few issues I’ve had with Bazzite but one of the most annoying is just… an inability or inaccessibility to install Ubisoft Connect? I mean I’d use it in the way any other Steam user does as just something else that has to launch before playing Uno or Far Cry.

Toy Story 5: God DAMMIT, every time they announce another one they somehow come up with a good film. If I were Disney, I'd look at Pixar, how they make movies and how they still make bank and keep letting them do their thing. Easy money. ... WHAT DO YOU *MEAN* THEY'RE LAYING THEM OFF??

I’m really glad I’ve got what feels like appropriate hardware for AAA games again. But also goddamn, in trying to be big and mainstream they are so hit-or-miss on whether they resonate with you. You gamble so much more on the entry fee to even know if you’ll like a AAA game compared to an indie.

I’m finding Immortals of Aveum interesting so far but it seems like the HDR is kinda busted? Like I get the sense the brightest areas aren’t meant to look like this? (If anyone happens to see this and knows a fix, I’ll share PC specs).

I played 3 hours of Mad Max yesterday, got a bit bored and felt I should stop in a bit, then another 3 hours passed. This game would’ve bored me so much in 2014 but idk I guess I’m of the right age and mindset now, time fucking flies by as I play.

I *might* do some more art tonight but focusing on self care after a really hard week. That said, shoutout to @drhotelmario.bsky.social for showing me a method that’s so much faster *and* better than the anatomy methods I was trying to follow lol
