Appreciate the thought here but the reality is that as soon as a social media website costs more than $0, 99% of users will leave. The adoption rate for blue checkmarks was less than 1%, and they could mostly charge that to the Klan's business credit card.

Personally I would be more willing to pay for a social media website that made protecting marginalized people a core part of its business than one that offers them up as bait for bigots. That's my preference

Something that recent AI horror movies (Afraid, M3gan, etc.) all nail is that the problem is that "humanity" is not designing large language models. Investors raised with Silicon Valley cultural values are. AIs are children. Look at their parents.
