I don’t think Eby’s slumping popularity has anything to do with pipelines. Rather, it’s his incompetence on healthcare, finances, ferries, ICBC, education, and a bunch of other issues. Unfortunately, the other party that would form government is led by racists, bigots, and conspiracy theorists.

I think water will be the big issue across the CV this election. It will be “we have a serious problem and we need to address it” candidates versus “it’s a WEF/UN/evil gub’mint conspiracy and everything is fine” candidates.

Agreed. I’m an atheist. I studied the “Bible as Literature” in high school and minored in religion. Teaching all religions from an academic, secular perspective is good. These belief systems rule most of the planet. Know your enemy.

Being an overt traitor in a military town is a bad idea. The vast majority of us who put on a uniform are pretty patriotic.

I have to agree with all these points, but I think many Canadians voted in the last election well aware they were choosing between a Red Tory LPC and a RWNJ CPC. Politics is often about the least bad choice.

Doesn’t ABC still have a majority? They could easily remedy this by changing the appropriate bylaw to not allow delegations/public comments from outside Vancouver/BC/Canada/wherever they choose.
