Anyway. Having breast cancer (I have gone through it twice now) is horrific but the way they treat women who are just trying to feel normal is even worse. Sorry this is long. If you took the time to read all of this thanks for that. Hehe

They felt like having two dog chew toys strapped in with a really tight bra under your skin. Those implants cause auto immune disorders, frozen shoulders, and increase the risk of cancer coming back even.

They give these implants to 85% of all reconstruction patients. 70% of whom get them removed within the first 4 years. I had them for 7 years because of the pandemic and that psycho p.s. in Portland, Oregon.

I ended up with a complete misogynist who told me if I went with silicone implants I would be happy. I had to go through three surgeries, 8 months of physical therapy, and 44 treatments in a hyperbaric chamber before I could use my arms again.

Insurance doesn’t compensate the plastic surgeons for the 12 to 14 hour surgery so few learn how to do it. The first time I got cancer I was in Bend, Oregon. They didn’t have that kind of surgeon there and the good surgeon was on vacation.

She is well known for being horrific, but there are very few surgeons who can perform DIEP or TRAM flap surgery. Then you have to narrow it down by who your insurance covers. Yay American healthcare!

Fat shamed me. Then after describing the wrong surgery she acted out what would happen if I stood up too fast after surgery and swept her hands out to demonstrate my guts falling out onto the floor.
