I love how the vast majority of Lupin the Third is like, Peak Mids. Hundreds of episodes, dozens of specials, and almost all of it is in the "decent time with the gang" range.

It may seem mundane, but I adore how comic sound effects exist within a context. I can draw a "KA-BAM" on its own, floating in a void, and it can be nice. But it doesn't have an accompanying action, and no interaction with the lines and negative space of the art. That's the real juice.

I got the deluxe edition of No Man's Sky when it first came out and the bonus ship it came with allowed me to warp away from the starting area before I got the resources to warp. Ended up completely stranded, lol. Wonder if that save is still usable after all these years.

How I feel when I'm told I have to use Wild Words as the primary dialogue font.

I once filled one of these up all the way with the cherry flavoring syrup intended to turn a normal drink into a cherry drink. My mom made me pour it out before I even tried it........

Da Good Shit. (The Criterion release of Wild at Heart hasn't been officially announced yet, but I'd put that in place of Fire Walk With Me as my favorite standalone Lynch movie.)

Thinking about the way Wayne Truman drew sound effects for manga that didn't match the style of the originals but still burst with energy. The full color version of Dragon Ball has the original sound effects so it's used for comparison here.

Does anyone know of other movies that can go on this list?

Ready Player Three ghostwriter

Back to playing Silent Hill 1. Feels really good in motion. Very impressed with how easily the camera moves on its own, and how the one-button camera shift highlights interesting angles. An interesting contrast to Resident Evil 1-3 in terms on controls and camera.

Initial build of the Miku Zaku done! Gonna try and panel line the black elements with chrome before adding the stickers. Then finish it off with a gloss top coat.

Remembering the time I went to a record store and the little shelf in the corner had framed pictures of Laura Palmer (living and dead) next to a tiny framed portrait of Begby from Trainspotting.
