The only things I have personally had issues with in the dishwasher are certain plastics warping or cracking. I even put my knives in the dishwasher with 0 issues. (I prefer to buy "good enough" knives I don't have to worry about than really really nice knives I have to pamper.)
Technology ConnectionsAlso, hot take, you can put whatever the hell you want in a dishwasher! Sometimes there will be consequences! Raw aluminum doesn't play well with detergents, for example. But the only way to find out if their are consequences is to try it and see what happens. It's much rarer than you think.
