I do this thing. I've done it for years and just forget I'm doing it anymore. Someone asked me something like, say, "Do you know what you're doing?" Invariably I will respond with, "As far as you know." Tell me... Where did I get that from? ;-) Without Googling.

Taking a moment to shout out to my son, Gideon. He is 15 and did a presentation at the Tulare Ag Expo for his FFA robotics team and I was told he knocked it out of the park. He is an amazing kid and I know he will be so much better in life than I ever was. And that is what parenting is about!

So... Looking for your opinions. And if you read this, don't just like it. Please give me feedback. As writers, would you be put off if you mention a book you are about to release, and someone like me approaches you, as a response, and asks if you would mind me reading & discussing it on my show?

Wednesday. I have been working hard on what will be the biggest book I have written. Estimating it at at least 13 chapters and 120k words. 22k words into it and having a ball.

Found a great Google Docs plugin called Word Counter Max. It lets you set both a document word goal and a daily writing target. Perfect if you draft chapters separately and aim for something like 8,000 words total and 2,000 words a day. #WritingTools #inkcoffeeandregrets #writersofkern #newauthor
