The Moda Center debacle is especially interesting today. It highlights the realities of living in a world in need of unlimited climate resiliency investments as the wealthy escape paying for any of it. A recipe for losing stuff we love. As of now we have received 138 pieces of written testimony. Of that 71 submissions are opposed to the term sheet, 46 in support, with 21 registering support with changes. Lot of nuance in the comments and I’m reading each them, along with verbal testimony.

I think Keith Wilson and leadership in the Oregon legislature screwed the Portland City Council by leading the Blazers to believe this was all a done deal without including *any* input from city councilors.
