Art critique is itself an art form, and like all art it is subjective, requires practice, and is as much about the critic themself as it is about the subject it critiques.
Aaron BadyA lot of backlash to Wilson's take on Nolan's film personalized the issue, often in response to how her review was (rightly or wrongly) viewed to have been "personal." A lot of the defenses of her review (the backlash to that backlash) were also very personal, but inverted, praising her.
I keep bringing this up, because transphobia is never *just* transphobia - the transphobe will, when push comes to shove, always reveal themselves to be bigoted in so many other ways, prominently misogyny and homophobia (but also racism and ableism), and also vice versa bsky.app/profile/khan...

Actually supposed to read the GM's mind to follow the story. 3) Play goes slowly because "read my mind" is a shitty communication strategy.
