So, weird question, but what drink would you associate with elementary school kids before school starts in the morning, when they're still at home getting ready? What about after school, when they first get home? @ttrpgkids.com Any thoughts?

Foxy is old enough that I can ask her questions about different aspects of games I'm working on and get clear and competent answers and it's *amazing*. She still doesn't have the patience to play most of them (patience is a weak point we're working on), but it's so nice getting her feedback <3

4-5 when I do drink it, though at one time I enjoyed it black. 3 is perfect, though 2 and 4 are fine. 1-2. Anything beyond 3 is a war crime. Them's the rules. I don't write them. I just follow them.

So I think I might get three collections of five mini-games. I think? I'll release the first collection soon (with any luck), and the others over time. The kids' version might wait until spring because kids like rhymes and I like rhymes but rhymes can be *hard*

Sooo Foxy asked what I was working on and I told her a bit about this collection of tea games. She asked if there's a hot cocoa version. You can imagine the rabbit hole that's been leading me down.

I'm still working on RiverKeep! Going to have one short version for the 1 page RPG Jam and one where the game is allowed to breathe more, complete with extra RiverKin, Forest Folk, and examples for each Knack!

Do you ever get the urge to create a game with an image in mind for how it could be gifted to others? I think I'm going to try to create a set of super-light tea-related games that fit on a business card and can be slipped into a tea tin or tea box or mug <3

Looking at deadlines for the three jams I've joined, it looks like I might have been prioritizing the wrong projects 😅 Thankfully I have at least some work done on a zine idea I came up with during Ren Faire. I still need to playtest it more, but fingers crossed I get it done in time!

For my 5 year anniversary for publishing, I might take inspiration from another creator and sell some lifetime memberships. Pretty much a one-time purchase to get all my games for as long as I create them. Would there be any interest in something like this?

RiverKeep is almost done! I just need a bit of terminology. Then I'll format it and publish it. Of course, late last night my mind decided to move to an old WIP and I was up way too late taking notes 😅 I'm going to finish RiverKeep before I get too involved in it, but it's hard not to get excited!

...maybe I shouldn't have had that black tea earlier.... I started working on possible creature abilities and three hours managed to pass in 10 minutes. I swear, I've been doing other things as well! It just... kinda... happened 😅
