It chimes with me too. I’d heard of him but not enough to have an opinion about the story. The amount of publicity he’s had ie top of the news schedules, is disproportionate to the story. It wouldn’t be so if this was a white professor so the racism was present with his promotion and his downfall.

I often wonder at the mentality of politicians from ethnic minorities working for right wing Parties, willingly offering racists a handy shield to mask the bigotry. They must realise on some level that these racists would have no problem deporting them too, should an opportunity arise. #r4today
