Sadly true! So stuck on 'legacy' of the Civil Rights movement and Obama's presidency as a new plateau rather than a downturn for a lot of working class Black people who bought into increase wealth through investing in a house, and got screwed while Wall Street got bailouts.
Alternatively, Black folks could organize an independent party that centers Black working class interests broadly speaking, develop our own 'Black agenda', and DSA can take it or leave it
