When I was a little kid (like 8-ish) I thought the lyric was, "I am your fetus. I am your sire. Your heart's on fire." No, no I do not know past being around animal husbandry and my dad always having heartburn. That's the best I got. I was also a very weird kid. 😆

Joy. We turn off the stove. The burner stays on. It's probably a faulty switch and can be fixed, but come on. It's barely five years old. Can we please stop with the built-in deathclock on things that cost a significant amount of lettuce?

Yesterday we had to drive to Seattle to see my Neurologist. We're 90 miles away. Going there took 2.5 hours because of a bad accident. Coming home took 4 hours because everyone needed to go to Oregon at the same time, apparently. It was ridiculous. We need more and better transit options.

This isn't even all that strange when you learn it's in Tacoma.

When Covid hit, I found myself in conversation with one of our older allergy docs. This happened: "I just met with Infection Prevention. Have you heard this word before? 'Quar-an-tine'? I guess we have to do this for a while? I have to go look this word up." He retired later that year.

New coworker asked how I deal with my migraines. My answer: For prevention I get botox every 12 weeks. Every 3 months I inject 3 syringes of Ajovy into my stomach. I have eletriptan as a rescue med because I still get them. New coworker: 🤯 Then: "Have you tried Excedrin Migraine?" 🫠
