This is basically how it works in Sweden (where I live) and it’s great. Unless you have certain manual deductions to add (as most of those are automatic), the yearly tax declaration can be done online in 1 minute. 5 if you read it and double check the numbers.
Reading between the lines at times has also given me the impression that you stand up for your loved ones and take care of your family to your own detriment (something I deeply relate to) which is worthy of respect. You seem like a stand up guy doing his best and I’m glad to have you around.
I’ve followed your work for what seems like forever (early escapist days) but obviously don’t know you. Only the weird parasocial way that is typical of our times and I rarely interact. But for what it’s worth I think you seem great. From what I can tell from afar your heart is in the right place.
