NUFC Badge thoughts: sympathy to a point for the club/designers - they did the right thing and engaged the fanbase, asking people what they want to see from a new crest (the survey wasn't perfect but there was scope to affect things in there). The overwhelming result was responders making it clear

Tell you what, I don’t envy (the very experienced and talented) brand design team at NUFC. They clearly know what they’re doing, are following a solid process and their rationale for the crest they come up with is as sound as you’d like. But you still have Peter from Benwell posting in the chat
