That's not the problem it appears to be, because income tends to track with the cost of living for a given area. $50K really can be high income if the COL is likewise low.
And the response would be "just move where you can live within your means" but that's not always where the jobs are.
You have just provided explicit mathematical and legal reasoning why $100K is considered "low income" in some area.

What they perceive is that some have a life of ease and abundance that well exceeds what they have.
Many can't grasp that this is a structural economic issue, so the most accessible version becomes "everyone has so much, and I can't even have small treats and conveniences, it must be inflation"
Demand is when most consumers are demanding power. aka the hottest part of the day in summer, when solar production also peaks. I don't understand your point.
Isn't peak demand exactly when production is most needed, though? I would think the utilities that are begging people to decrease their air conditioning in summer would be thrilled about the extra capacity.
How is this possible when they don't even meet international criteria for refugee status? They haven't fled their country due to war. They came from their country. They're simply migrants.
