I’m shocked at how many people I met at the produce section of 3 grocery stores I go to that had no idea about cyclospora. Including the staff working there. Now I understand how many people don’t follow politics and have no idea what’s going on.

During the New Jersey gubernatorial election of 2017, a local TV news station asked people if they could name the 2 major-party nominees. Most people were clueless - and this was in a wealthy town, not an impoverished town.

I’m in a higher education and income county in a blue state. That’s why I’m even more disappointed.
