My ideal bus route, at the top of my Alexandria street, was rerouted into Arlington before getting on 395X. That's much longer and a real loss of service for my immediate neighborhood. However, I have another route across a major stream, that I can access via bridge. Maybe 2.5 times longer walk

It's quite frequent in the morning now. Upon Better Bus launch, there were fewer buses. WMATA increased service with no fanfare. At the unofficial WMATA 50th party in March, I spoke with a bus planner and confirmed more service. However, WMATA did not announce it which was...odd.

There is apparently some internal reluctance to announce extended service because it's not happening everywhere. That's not great. PM service is still only every 20 minutes from Pentagon. I'd say 60% - 75% of the time, I can get to Pentagon from Eastern Market in 20 minutes and catch the 5:20...

...without running from the Pentagon Platform to the bus bay. It really depends on the L'enfant transfer to Yellow. Sometimes, the trains are spaced out too much and it doesn't work and I wind up on the 5:40. I will note that the 5:40 driver (prior to summer at least) is GREAT.
