That's really cool! I love that the two maps have been part of your vision from the start. Did the story naturally grow into needing two different maps, or was there a specific reason you always knew you'd need both?
It's because of a [book 2 spoiler] which expands things quite a bit. That's the same story event that made me want to write the book so I guess I always knew.
I like that the story event was so compelling it ended up shaping something as fundamental as the maps. It sounds like you've had a clear vision for this world for a long time.
