Realistically there are more good games now than then, but I had time to play more, and people to talk and play with constantly then, so tough to not be special.
This is a factual statement. There are far more good games coming out today than they were back then. However, I don’t feel, in fact, I know they’re not made with the same focus for lack of a better word. My dream house is a ton of arcade games that were ports of arcade games. There is an energy.
Of like trying to get eyes to look at you type of design that is all over a lot of those games because of the nature of where they were initially launched at. I feel like that type of desire is completely gone from GAMES today. It makes perfect sense why but it’s more than just nostalgia I feel.
