"Generative" AI is anti-intellectual and fascist- it steals music, art, and literature only to hollow them out to their superficial characteristics and produce slop. Write your feelings! Read a book! Draw something! Creation and expression are radical acts in a world trying to dumb us down!

Whenever sites come up with new rules like this I thing about how if you were a creator who was making something every bit on the level with a hugely popular and acclaimed series, would you be allowed to share it? Like, if you were sitting on the next Game of Thrones, you couldn’t share that here.

By focusing on the most inflammatory games available, Collective Shout is trying to gain support for a broad ban of content. Friends of ours have had their livelihoods jeopardized overnight after having their games removed due to mature content, sexual or otherwise.

If puritan groups are able to dictate what people worldwide are allowed to spend their money on, it threatens video games' ability to operate as art in any way whatsoever, and it'd be foolish to assume that any game is safe.

I can’t take anybody seriously who thinks reading/watching/playing media that involves morally bad characters means you condone that behavior and/or want to perpetrate it yourself in real life. Y’all sound so ridiculous. It’s fiction. 🤦🏼

Extremely funny to me that payment processors are claiming to do this to protect their brand image when we have an entire industry around getting children addicted to gambling that they’re only too happy to back.
