Streamed Voices of the Void today and man that game was NOT for me. It was like friction². After the tutorial taught you almost nothing mandatory about the actual game beyond convoluted button commands, they drop you into an open area with survival meters ticking down. Felt absolutely terrible.

I've never really recovered from finding out from devs that the Shambler from Quake is meant to be covered in fur instead of skin that's pulled too tightly.

Been playing Sekiro again after only getting like 30% in back in 2019. My thoughts are that it nails atmosphere and the streamlining of combat mechanics is great, however janky hitboxes and awkward movement around some geometry hurts fluidity a lot. I'm finding it more tedious than I expected.

It might be worth checking your shader cache if you haven't cleared it out in a while. I just got like 70GB back on my C drive from games I'm probably never going to play again.

I've finished Berserk (2017) now. It was much better than I expected, although the arc seemed a bit like half of a story and ended abruptly. I think I finally understand the continuity of this nightmare patchwork of random anime series'. Probably should have just read the manga! Haha.
